Stay Alfred Marks Fifth Nashville Building Partnership, Leasing Entire SoBro Building

Company expands travel apartment offerings with new partnership at Stay Alfred SoBro

SPOKANE, Wash. – May 28, 2019 – (Newswire.com)

Stay Alfred, the nation’s leading provider of travel apartments, announced their expansion into Nashville’s SoBro (south of Broadway) neighborhood with the addition of Stay Alfred SoBro. Previously known as SoBro Guest House boutique hotel, the three-story, 13,233-square-foot building will now offer 1 bedroom/1 bath travel apartments managed by the industry leader.

Partnering with multifamily developers and property managers, Stay Alfred leases blocks of units or entire buildings and offers them as travel apartments for guests. Having hosted more than 700,000 guests across the nation since 2011, Stay Alfred offers travel apartments that combine the quality, consistency and guest support of a hotel with the lifestyle amenities of an upscale apartment building.

“SoBro Guest House was originally designed as an alternative to a traditional hotel stay, so when C2G Advisors made the introduction to owner Jack Waddey, this long-term partnership made perfect sense,” said Mike Wilson, senior vice president of real estate at Stay Alfred. “Even with existing reservations on the books, the transition of Stay Alfred taking over operations and management went incredibly smooth and we’re excited to add this new building to our Nashville portfolio. Owner Jack Waddey now benefits from a reduction in operating expenses, plus net operating income certainty.”

In addition to the company’s other Nashville properties of Stay Alfred at 505, Stay Alfred at The James, Stay Alfred on Rolling Mill Hill and Stay Alfred on Church Street, Stay Alfred now operates the entire building of 24 travel apartments at Stay Alfred SoBro with a master lease and marks the company’s fifth building partnership in Nashville.

“SoBro Guest House has been a wonderful investment and property for my wife and me,” said Jack Waddey. “Our previous managers were cutting-edge developers and helped us build a very unique property. But Stay Alfred helps us take this investment to another level. Segueing the property into the Stay Alfred portfolio was a natural fit and we couldn’t be happier with the seamless way that they have transitioned to management. Stay Alfred is a well-run organization and we are excited about our future working relationship.”

Stay Alfred travel apartments feature dedicated living spaces, full kitchen, washer and dryer, free WiFi and a self-guided check-in process. Guests also have access to the building amenities and common areas.

“We only offer travel apartments in downtown neighborhoods, and SoBro is home to new developments, restaurants, bars and yet is still just a few blocks from historic Broadway honky tonks,” said Jordan Allen, CEO of Stay Alfred. “Guests can feel at home and enjoy the best of both worlds with Stay Alfred SoBro.”
