Nine Four Analyst Position

Nine Four is hiring an Analyst to join our Chicago based investment team.

About the Role:

The Analyst role is an exciting and unique opportunity for candidates to break into PropTech and VC. As an Analyst, you will have a front-row seat to understand and drive PropTech trends, get to know founders, limited partners, and other venture investors, and wear the variety of hats that VCs are required to wear. Previous Nine Four team members have gone on to pursue an MBA at top business schools, launch their own startups, and/or work within the industry.

Analysts are responsible for:

• • Executing investment activities: Due diligence, financial analysis, modeling, and valuation;

• • Identifying and sourcing investment opportunities, including pitching investment opportunities internally to the Nine Four investment team;

• • Researching and developing investment themes, including presenting to Nine Four limited partners and executive teams of corporate partners;

• • Assisting in firm operations, monitoring the performance of the investments in our portfolio, and maintaining internal processes and systems.

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

• • 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in venture capital, strategy consulting, investment banking, or private equity;

• • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity;

• • Interested in the impact that technology will have on the built world;

• • Clear and concise communication skills adaptable to founders, investors, team members, and industry executives;

• • Be a highly motivated self-starter.
